CARLENTINI – On December 16, 2021, at the Turi Ferro Municipal Theater in Carlentini, the musical school “Over the Rainbow” presented “MusicalMania“, a tribute to the greatest musicals of all time. Masterfully directed by the Direction and Artistic Direction of Roberta Furnò, great performers performed, such as: Maria Carla Aldisio, CostanzaSpadaro, Valentina Marchese, Federica Gianino, Felice Di Stefano, Dario Castro and Giuseppe Brancato. The Baby Performers of the “Over the Rainbow” School of Musicals are in a wonderful setting. A greeting from Madrid came from Iago García who, due to some Anticovid procedures, did not have the opportunity to be present as the host of the evening. An artistic puzzle, made of warm voices and movements of bodies as eloquent as words, was staged without losing sight of the social denunciation of the messages, clearly leaked by the penetrating monologues of the artists, through the emphasis of their voice and their interpretative charge. The direction gave us moments of reflection that gently took shape, through the smiles, the faces, the looks, the voices and the wonderful performances of the students of the “Over the Rainbow” school. The younger ones created a frame full of liveliness and energy that exploded during the cheerful and colorful choreographies, typical of an age with so much richness and brightness, such as to make them reach even the most dull eyes. All this and much more was “Over the Rainbow”, an artistic reality within a cross-section of a social reality that, with its passion, wanted to give the public a moment of life that goes beyond the moment, beyond of what is necessarily tangible. “Over the Rainbow” gave each individual present in the room a unique interior dimension, created by the deep female voices, by the warm tones of the male voices, by the striking and engaging choreographies. Over the Rainbow ”gave each individual present in the room a unique interior dimension, created by the deep female voices, by the warm tones of the male voices, by the striking and engaging choreographies. The essential scene and the fumes in the background allowed the viewer to focus attention on the artistic event in its entirety. “Over the Rainbow” made musicals, the musical turned on the theater, theater is a message, the stage is “the street”, the actors are interpreters of reality, but they do so by elevating themselves through the magic of emotions, transmitting looks, gestures , words and movements such that the viewer returns home with his heart full of new feelings and good intentions.
