CARLENTINI – Driven by their passion for music and for “Bello”, the “Replay” Official Tribute PoohBand, have addressed the their friends a special invitation to share an experience made of music, emotions and poetry. A sharing that goes beyond the musical performance and projects itself towards solidarity. The musical group in question, the Municipal Administration and the Proloco di Carlentini, have identified the Caritas offices as recipients of the sums collected during the show on December 28th. The evening begins in a completely original way. A warm, Christmassy and domestic atmosphere is created, as if the spectators had been invited to take a seat in the living room of “Replay Home”, to listen to a good moment of acoustic music. Everything is so light and magical. The air is getting more and more welcoming and relaxing. In doing so, the audience enjoyed a musical anticipation, which prepared and warmed up spirits for the actual concert. Six professional and perfectionist friends get together and make a concert an amazing evening, characterized by enveloping musical notes and an engaging voice. We are talking about Renato Marino, founder of the Band, lover of literature and master of the Italian language, drummer of the group, who has believed in this musical project since the beginning. Andrea Garro, on piano and keyboards, takes care of the arrangements and makes the musical style of the Band unique. Samuele Vecchio, from the Naples Festival of 2000 to the Giro Festival of Rai Tre 2004, joins the “Replay Band” and assumes the role of Frontman and Vocalist. Francesco Di Grazia, co-founder of the band, linked to experimental music experiences, takes care of the entire “Replay” project from the point of view of management and sound. Angelo Fangano, always looking for new and original sounds, strengths of the Band, also co-founder of “ Replay group “, is voice and acoustic guitar player. Gabriele Cattano, professionally trained at the Vincenzo Bellini Musical Institute in Catania, on electric and acoustic guitar, manages to give an intense soul to the songs performed by the Band. The audience that follows them is exhilarating, because the “Replays” create unique songs and concerts in their style. They possess their own identity and musical personality, stripped of the veil of imitation. Their circular character makes them all leaders of the same musical experience and the same passion for beautiful things.
It is an intimately lived artistic passion, which goes beyond simple exhibition. Replay always love to play strictly LIVE, without filters and without technical tricks, because their aim is to give the audience a few hours of light-heartedness, emotions and poetry… and as John Keating said, Robin Williams to be clear….” We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute: we read and write poetry because we are members of the human race; and the human race is full of passion…make your life extraordinary” he told his students in “Carpe Diem”…and “I Replay” did it…they succeeded.
Their strong point lies in living the musical experience through the filter of emotions … and this signal reaches the point of making the soul of the spectator vibrate who, returning home, carries within himself the “vibes” of a musical memory that warmed my heart.
