Disponibile in tutte le principali piattaforme di streaming e download da venerdì 28 luglio, “Chasing Stars” (Capitol Records / Universal Music) è il nuovo singolo di Matteo Bocelli, scritto da Ed e Matthew Sheeran.
Prodotto da PARISI (Ed Sheeran, Fred Again), il brano è una ballad che mette in mostra tutte le qualità vocali e interpretative di Matteo. Si tratta infatti di un emozionante racconto del rapporto padre/figlio, che lo stesso Ed Sheeran spiega così: “Chasing Stars parla di nostro padre e di come ci ha supportato quando eravamo più giovani con la nostra musica (‘When I was younger, my father was my hero / Let me hop on his shoulders, we sang to the moon’). Amo la versione con Matteo. Lui è un talento vero”.
“Come i fratelli Sheeran – aggiunge poi Bocelli -, anch’io sono cresciuto in una famiglia in cui la musica era centrale nelle nostre vite. Ed e Matthew hanno scritto la canzone, ma sembra che l’abbiano scritta appositamente per me. Lavorare con loro è stato un privilegio“.
“Chasing Stars” è accompagnata da un video ufficiale – diretto da Gaetano Morbioli e girato nella bellissima Jamaica Beach sul Lago di Garda – e anticipa “Matteo“, l’album di debutto del cantautore, che uscirà il 22 settembre e conterrà ben 12 tracce in inglese e italiano.
Matteo Bocelli 2023 World Tour: le date
Dopo il successo dei live in California di quest’estate, a settembre Matteo Bocelli tornerà ad esibirsi dal vivo con il suo primo tour mondiale, organizzato e prodotto da Live Nation, che toccherà ben 12 paesi con 30 date live, di cui due in Italia, previste il 24 ottobre a Milano e il 25 ottobre a Roma.
